What is LifeForge?

LifeForge is a free RPG habit tracker that turns your real life into a role-playing game. You have 6 real-life stats — Strength, Vitality, Agility, Intelligence, Willpower, and Charisma — that level up when you complete activities and decay when you skip days. Your character class evolves based on which stats you train most.

How is LifeForge different from Habitica?

Habitica uses manual checkboxes to track habits. LifeForge has AI-powered logging — just type what you did in plain English and the AI assigns XP to the right stats automatically. LifeForge also has stat decay (your stats rust if you skip), 15+ class evolutions, and a modern mobile-first design built in 2026.

How is LifeForge different from Finch?

Finch is a self-care companion with a virtual pet. LifeForge is a full RPG with deeper gamification: 6 trackable stats, class evolutions based on your play style, competitive streaks with real consequences, VS quests against friends, and AI-powered logging. Finch focuses on wellness. LifeForge gamifies your entire life.

Is LifeForge free?

Yes. LifeForge is completely free to download and use with no ads. There's an optional premium subscription at £2.99/month for extra features, but the core RPG experience — stats, quests, classes, streaks, and AI logging — is free forever.

What are the 6 stats?

Strength (physical exercise), Vitality (health and nutrition), Agility (speed and movement), Intelligence (learning and reading), Willpower (discipline and mental toughness), and Charisma (social skills and communication). Each stat levels up independently based on your real activities.

What happens if I miss a day?

Your stats accumulate rust — they don't drop immediately, but the longer you're inactive, the more your stats decay. This creates real stakes unlike most habit trackers. You can earn streak freezes to protect your streak on off days.

How does the AI logging work?

Open the AI logger and describe what you did in plain English — "went to the gym for an hour, read 30 pages of a book, cooked a healthy meal." The AI understands your activities and assigns XP to the correct stats automatically. No checkboxes, no manual categorization.

What are class evolutions?

Your character starts as a Wanderer and evolves based on which stats you train most. Train Strength and you might become a Brawler, then a Gladiator, then an Apex. Focus on Intelligence and you become a Student, then a Savant, then a Grand Sage. There are 15+ evolution paths — your class is a reflection of how you actually live.

Does LifeForge connect to Apple Health and Health Connect?

Yes. On iOS we read from Apple Health, on Android from Health Connect. Steps, sleep, workouts, and mindfulness sessions automatically convert into XP for the right stats (STR, AGI, VIT, WIL). The work you're already doing finally counts toward your character — no double-logging, no checkboxes.

What are quest arcs?

Multi-step storylines guided by a mentor. Season 1 introduces 14 mentors across the classes, each leading you through themed steps. Earn XP in the arc's stat to advance. Complete the whole arc and you unlock a relic for your collection — a permanent reward that marks the journey.

What's the difference between a Main Quest and a Side Quest?

The Main Quest is the smart-recommended quest you should tackle first — based on your path, your weakest stat, and what you haven't logged today. Tick it off and you pocket a +50% XP bonus. Once you've done one, the rest become Side Quests — still worth doing, just without the bonus.

Is LifeForge good for ADHD?

A lot of players with ADHD tell us it clicks where other habit trackers didn't. LifeForge breaks life into small, concrete actions, rewards them instantly with XP and level-ups, and turns consistency into a game instead of a chore — external structure and quick dopamine, which is often exactly what ADHD brains respond to. And there's no guilt-tripping: miss a day, you just pick back up. Free on iOS and Android.
